The Smoke is what clouds the room and shifts the view. It blurs edges, hides exits, and makes the dangerous beautiful. It can be protection - a screen, a signal, a breath stolen in the chaos. Smoke is also transformation, the sign that fire has moved through. What was solid becomes vapor; what was hidden drifts into view.

The Smoke warns of getting lost in illusion. Denial as cover, numbing that becomes suffocation. You may be choking on what once felt protective. This card asks: what are you hiding behind, and what truth is asking to clear? The Smoke teaches that cover can be survival, but it cannot be home. Illusion may protect, but it also blinds. When the haze lifts, clarity returns, and with it, the power to breathe free.
